Cardizem is used for the treatment of rhythm disturbances of the heart like supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation and flutter. It may also be used for other conditions as prescribed by your doctor.

But if you do miss a dose, then you may take it as soon as you remember taking care to space out the remaining doses accordingly. You may also choose to skip it and continue with your regular dose. But do not take a double dose.
Storage
Store it at room temperature away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Cardizem out of the reach of children.
Overdose
Some of the typical symptoms of a Cardizem overdose include confusion, shortness of breath especially while lying down, drowsiness, fainting and slow heart rate. Seek medical attention immediately if you suspect an overdose.
